Wild Duck Park is set in mature woodlands so it is perfect for
spotting wildlife such as ducks and rabbits. There are woods on the edge
of the Park which are idyllic for a relaxing stroll and if you are lucky
enough you will be able to spot the deer and foxes. Pleasurewood Hills
Theme Park is located off the A12 between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth.
This theme park has many thrill rides such as Enigma, Wizzy Dizzy and
many more. There are also rides for all the family as well as
professionally
managed shows throughout the day. Take a walk along Lowestoft seafront
and the children will soon be trying to choose from the variety of
activities available, from playing in the sand and surf, to visiting
'Mayhem Adventure Play' - an indoor soft play area, an ideal place for
children to let off steam! Discover the historic north end of old
Lowestoft, which was the original main centre of Lowestoft and a must
visit is Lowestoft Lighthouse. The Lowestoft Scores Trail is a perfect
way to discover more about the ancient pathways leading down to the sea.
These are said to be the most haunted part of the town and can also be
discovered by participating in The Lowestoft Guided Tours, which run
from Easter to Halloween. Young families should visit Pettitts Craft &
Animal Adventure Park and for the older kids try the Sea Life Centre at
Great Yarmouth with over 39 displays of marine life.
