Luxembourg might not be the first destination that comes to mind when
considering a camping holiday, but when you see what it has to offer, a camping
holiday in Luxembourg could be just what you're looking for. Eurocamp's Birkelt
campsite at Larochette is set in lush pastoral
meadows and woods, with rivers
running by. The area is know as "Little Switzerland", and Larochette, with its
medieval castle, is just one of a number of similarly picturesque villages
nearby. It's great country for walking the rolling hills and enjoying nature.
The campsite is only about 25 kms from Luxembourg City, well worth a visit for
its old quarter. And even closer is the Deutsch-Luxembourg natural park, with
miles of walking and cycling tracks. And Luxembourg is easy to reach from the
UK, just two or three hour's drive from Calais, Dunkerque, Rotterdam or
Zeebrugge.
